AMA Insurance Company achieves top honours in the Alberta region of the J.D. Power Study

Love is in the air – and not just because it’s Valentine’s Day.

The Alberta Motor Association Insurance Company has achieved the number 1 ranking* in Alberta for overall customer satisfaction in auto insurance, according to the 2019 J.D. Power Canada Auto Insurance Satisfaction Study released today.

“We’re proud that Albertans trust AMA to look after them when they need it most,” said Rob Jesso, Chief Operating Officer, Alberta Motor Association Insurance Company. “Choosing an insurance provider is an important decision. Our members know we’ll look after them like we would our own families, and we’re honoured that this has been acknowledged through the J.D. Power survey.”

“We’ve been enhancing how we do business, continuing to put the member’s experience at the centre of our decisions,” said Jesso. “This tells us we’re moving in the right direction.”

The Canada Auto Insurance Satisfaction Study measures customer satisfaction with primary auto insurers across five factors: product/policy offerings; price, billing and payment; interaction (non-claims); and claims. The study is based on responses from 8,688 auto insurance policyholders in four regions: Alberta, Atlantic, Ontario and Quebec.
